Getting started

What is Way More?

Way More runs a weekly Dealer Event where licensed Missouri dealers compete to buy cars from private sellers. You list your car, set the lowest price you'd accept, and dealers bid against each other every Wednesday.

Where is Way More available?

We're launching in the St. Louis area. At launch, sellers need to be in Missouri, and cars are sold to Missouri-licensed dealers with a participating location in our St. Louis service area.

Is there a fee to sell with Way More?

Yes, only when your car sells. The seller fee is $300 or 1% of the final sale price, whichever is greater, and it's charged when the handoff at the dealership is complete.

What do I need to list my car?

Your VIN, current mileage and title information, plus photos of your car. We'll guide you through which shots to take. You'll also sign a seller agreement and set your Minimum Selling Price.

Can I sign up today?

Not yet. We're getting ready to launch. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know as soon as you can list your car.

The Dealer Event

When does bidding happen?

Every week. Approved dealers can preview that week's cars starting Tuesday at 12 PM CT, and live bidding runs Wednesday from 12 PM to 3 PM CT.

What is a Minimum Selling Price?

It's the lowest price you're willing to accept, and it's binding: if bidding reaches your Minimum Selling Price, your car sells automatically to the highest bidder. Choose a number you'd be happy to sell for.

What if the top bid is below my minimum?

Then it's your call. You can accept the top bid or send a counteroffer until 6 PM CT that Wednesday. If no deal is reached by then, the dealer is released.

Does every car get listed?

Every listing is reviewed by the Way More team before it goes into a Dealer Event. If something needs fixing, we'll ask you to make corrections.

Dealers

Who are the dealers?

Missouri-licensed motor vehicle dealers with a participating location in the St. Louis area. Every dealership applies and must be approved by Way More before it can bid.

Will I know who bought my car?

Yes. After your car sells, we'll show you the buying dealership's name and address so you can schedule your handoff.

I'm a dealer. How do I join?

Join the dealer waitlist. We'll reach out about the application and approval process before our first St. Louis Dealer Event.

Handoff & payment

How does the handoff work?

You book a time to bring your car to the buying dealership's location. The dealer inspects the car with you there, then you complete the odometer statement and sign over the title.

How do I get paid?

The buying dealer pays you directly. Way More never holds the money for your car.

Can the price change at handoff?

If the dealer finds a problem at inspection that wasn't disclosed in your listing, they can propose an adjusted price with a reason and evidence. You can accept it or dispute it, and Way More reviews disputes. Issues you disclosed in your listing can't be used to lower the price.

What if I still owe money on my car?

Let us know when you list. Our team reviews loans and liens before your car goes into a Dealer Event.

Your next step can be simple.

Join the waitlist and be first in line when Way More opens in St. Louis.
