Terms of Use

These terms explain how you can use Way More as a seller, a dealer or someone on the waitlist, and include our text message terms. See also our Privacy Policy.

  1. 1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Try Way More LLC (“Way More”, “we”, “us”) for using the Way More website. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

Sellers also sign a Seller Agreement and dealerships sign a Dealer Agreement. Those signed agreements govern each sale. If they differ from these terms, the signed agreement wins.

  2. 2. Who can use Way More

    • You must be at least 18 years old.
    • Sellers must be Missouri residents selling a personal vehicle they own.
    • Dealers must be Missouri-licensed motor vehicle dealers approved by Way More. Each buyer at a dealership uses their own login.
    • Keep your login to yourself and tell us right away at support@trywaymore.com if you think someone else used it. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
  3. 3. What Way More does

Way More reviews listings and dealers and runs the Dealer Event where dealers bid. Way More does not buy, sell or take title to any vehicle. The sale is between the seller and the buying dealership, and the dealership pays the seller directly.

  4. 4. How a sale works

A seller sets a Minimum Selling Price and signs the Seller Agreement. Way More reviews the listing before it can join a Dealer Event. If the highest bid reaches the Minimum Selling Price, the car sells at the winning bid without a second accept step. If bidding stays below it, the seller can accept or counter until the deadline shown on the car's page.

Dealer Events run weekly. The preview, bidding and deadline times are shown on each car's page and on the Dealer Event page.

A seller can ask Way More to take a car out of a Dealer Event. After a car has sold, taking it out still means the seller fee is charged.

  5. 5. Handoff and inspection

After a sale, the seller adds a card for the Way More fee, then books a handoff during the dealership's handoff hours. At the handoff, the dealer inspects the car, every titled owner signs the odometer statement, and the seller signs over the title.

If the dealer finds a problem the seller didn't disclose, the dealer can report it with photos and propose an adjusted price or cancel the sale. If the seller declines, Way More staff review the case and decide, as described in the Seller and Dealer Agreements.

  6. 6. Fees and payments

If a seller's car sells, the seller fee is $300 or 1% of the final sale price, whichever is greater. When the car sells, Way More saves the seller's card and places a hold for the fee. The fee is charged when the handoff is complete. A seller who still owes a fee can't list another car until it is paid.

Dealer fees are set out in the Dealer Agreement. Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms.

If you think a fee was charged by mistake, email support@trywaymore.com and we will review it.

  7. 7. Accurate information and your content

Everything you enter must be true and yours to share, including vehicle photos taken live with your camera, damage descriptions, title and loan details and dealer documents. Dealers bid on what sellers disclose.

You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You allow Way More to store, show and share them as needed to run your listing or account and complete sales, as described in our Privacy Policy.

  8. 8. Acceptable use

    Don't:

    • give false information or list a car you don't own
    • bid without intending to buy, or bid on your own car
    • share your login or use someone else's
    • interfere with bidding, the site or other users
    • copy the site or collect its data with bots or scripts
    • use Way More for anything illegal

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or a signed agreement. Sales already in progress still follow their agreements.

  9. 9. Text messages

Way More account texts. If you agree to texts, Way More sends text messages about your own account to the mobile number you give: waitlist launch news, your listing's review and corrections, Dealer Event times, bids, results, purchases and handoffs. We don't send marketing texts.

    • Agreeing to texts is optional and is not required to join the waitlist, sell or buy.
    • Message frequency varies with your account activity.
    • Message and data rates may apply.
    • Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. We send one message to confirm, then no more texts to that number unless you agree again.
    • Reply HELP for help, or email support@trywaymore.com.
    • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we handle your number and consent is described in our Privacy Policy. We never share your mobile number or text consent for marketing.

  10. 10. Electronic records and signatures

You agree that Way More can give you agreements, notices, receipts and other records electronically, on the site or by email, and that you can sign electronically, for example by ticking a box or typing your name. An electronic signature has the same effect as signing on paper. To get a paper copy of a record, or to stop receiving records electronically, email support@trywaymore.com. Using the site requires electronic records, so stopping them means you can't continue online.

  11. 11. Liability, disputes and governing law

Counsel's final terms will cover warranties, limits of liability, how disputes are resolved and which law applies.

  12. 12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new date and version number. If the change is important, we will ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.
